Making a Musical Difference!

Posted on 12-23-2015 | Kids 'R' Kids Learning Academy of Mableton

Many studies of young children have shown a link between excellent academic performance and exposure to music. Even as an infant, participating in and observing musical activities can positively influence your child. For many babies, singing is an effective way to bond with parents and also encourages verbal skills to develop.

Toddlers and preschoolers naturally enjoy music since it gives them a way to play and learn. You may have a child at home who has a favorite song and always wants to sing it or listen to it. While this behavior may make you want to pull your hair out, take heart! This is actually a great indicator that your child is establishing important neural connections as they sing and learn music.

At Kids ‘R’ Kids of Mableton, our Opus One music program is available for all of our students from our infants and all the way through second grade! We understand the unique advantage music gives children, especially at an early age. Our teachers are committed to seeing each child thrive as they explore the world of music across various cultures, types, and instruments.

Whether you have a young infant or a school-age child, Kids ‘R’ Kids of Mableton has the right program to engage their minds and enhance their learning capabilities. We know that creating a positive preschool environment is crucial in giving your child the solid academic foundation they need for a lifetime of successful learning! Contact us today to schedule a tour and learn more about all of our extracurricular programs that give each child a chance to grow and develop new skills.
